Schotel Tahu (Tofu Casserole)


In Indonesian & English (the English version is below the recipe written in Indonesian)


Bahan
  • 400 gr Tahu-tumbuk kasar, 50 gr Keju parut, 3 sm Panir
  • 1 Wortel-potong dadu, 1 Daun bawang-iris, 1 st Lada bubuk
  • ½ Bawang bombay-cincang, 2 Bawang putih-haluskan
  • 150 gr Daging/Ayam cincang, 1 st Garam½ st Kaldu bubuk
  • 3 Telur-kocok, 3 sm Margarin, ½ st Ketumbar bubuk

Cara membuat
  • Tumis bawang putih & bombay dengan 2 sm margarin. Masukkan daging/ayam, masak hingga matang.
  • Panaskan oven 180° C. Campur tahu, wortel, daun bawang, tumisan, telur, 2 sm panir, keju, garam, lada, kaldu, ketumbar. Tuang di loyang yang telah diolesi minyak. Panggang hingga matang. Keluarkan, oles dng margarin & taburi panir. Panggang hingga kuning kecokelatan

Ingredients
  • 400 gr Tofu-coarsely pound, 3 Eggs-beaten3 tbsp Margarine
  • 1 small Carrot-diced, 1 Green onion-sliced, 1 tsp ground Pepper
  • ½ tsp ground Coriander, 2 Garlic cloves-grind, 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 tbsp Breadcrumbs150 gr minced Beef/chicken
  • ½ tsp Broth powder, ½ Onion-minced, 50 gr grated Cheese

Directions
  • Sauté garlic & onion with 2 tbsp margarine. Add in minced meat; keep stirring until it's cooked.
  • Preheat oven to 180° C. Mix tofu, carrot, green onion, sautéed spices, eggs, 2 tbsp breadcrumbs, cheese, salt, pepper, broth & coriander. Place the batter in a greased baking dish. Bake until it's cooked. Remove from the oven. Smear the surface with margarine; sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake again until golden brown.
