Puding Roti (Bread Pudding)



In Indonesian & English (the English version is below the recipe written in Indonesian)


Bahan
  • 14 Roti tawar tanpa kulit, ½ st Garam, 170 gr Gula
  • 100 ml Krim+400 ml Susu, 2 sm Rum, 1 st Vanili
  • 125 gr Kismis, 4 Telur, 2 st Kayu manis bubuk
  • 50 gr Mentega+70 gr Margarin-campur

Cara membuat
  • Potong2 roti. Aduk telur, gula, krim dan susu. Mskkan vanili, rum, kayu manis, aduk. Beri kismis. Masukkan roti, aduk perlahan, biarkan sejenak sampai roti melembut.
  • Panaskan oven 170°C. Semir loyang dengan margarin, tuang adonan sampai ketinggian 3 cm di bawah permukaan loyang. Sisa margarin & mentega dicairkan, tuang di atas adonan.
  • Panggang selama 40-50 menit (sampai mengembang & berwarna kuning kecokelatan).

Ingredients
  • 14 slices toast Bread without crust, 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 50 gr Butter+70 gr Margarine, 4 Eggs½ tsp Salt
  • 125 gr Raisins, 1 tsp Vanilla extract, 2 tbsp Rum
  • 400 ml Milk+100 ml Cream, 170 gr Sugar

Directions 
  • Torn bread into small pieces. Mix eggs, sugar, cream+milk. Whisk in vanilla, rum, cinnamon. Add in raisins. Put in the bread; fold it gently. Let it rest for a moment to soften the bread.
  • Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease a baking dish with margarine then pour in the batter up to 3 cm from the top. Melt the rest of margarine & butter; pour it into the dish.
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes (until the batter raised & nicely golden brown).
