Tahu & Tempe Pedas Manis (Spicy Stir-Fried Tofu & Tempeh)

Bahan
  • 2 pak Tahu sutra-iris setebal 1 cm1 sm Kecap ikan
  • 100 gr Tempe-potong dadu, 2 st Air nipis, Minyak
  • 1 Daun bawang & 1 Tomat-iris2, 2 Cabai hijau-iris
  • 2 Daun salam, 2 sm Kecap manis, 1½ sm Kecap asin
  • 1 Bawang putih & 1 cm Jahe-haluskan, Maizena
  • 2 st Gula, 100 ml Air, 1 sm Saus cabai botol
  • 1 Sereh & 1 cm Lengkuas-geprek

Cara membuat
  • Goreng tempe hingga kecokelatan. Lapisi tahu dengan maizena, goreng hingga kering dengan minyak panas (beri jarak antara tahu waktu menggoreng agar tak saling menempel), sisihkan
  • Tumis bumbu yang dihaluskan, cabai, salam, sereh & lengkuas hingga harum. Masukkan tahu-tempe goreng, air nipis, gula, saus & kecap2, aduk rata. Tuangi air, masak hingga mendidih. Beri tomat & daun bawang, aduk hingga bumbu meresap.

Ingredients
  • 2 packs Silken Tofu-sliced 1 cm thick2 Bay leaves
  • 100 gr Tempeh-diced, 2 tsp Lime juice, frying Oil
  • 1 Green onion & 1 Tomato-sliced, 1 tbsp Chili sauce
  • 2 tsp Sugar1 Lemongrass & 1 cm Galangal-bruised
  • 1½ tbsp salty Soy sauce, 2 tbsp sweet Soy sauce
  • 100 ml Water, 2 Green chilies-sliced, Corn starch
  • 1 Garlic clove & 1 cm Ginger-grind1 tbsp Fish sauce

Directions
  •  Fry tempeh until golden brown. Coat tofu with corn starch; fry in hot oil until golden brown (give some space between each sliced tofu when you fry them); set it aside.
  • Sauté ground spices, chilies, bay leaves, lemongrass & galangal until fragrant. Put in fried tofu-tempeh, lime juice, sugar & sauces. Pour in water & bring it to a simmer. Add in tomato & green onion; stir until the flavor blended.

  1. what do you mean abaiu bumbu halus? you not writen at all ?

    1. Hi Dewi, thanks for stopping by. I don`t understand ur question..I didn`t wrote abaiu bumbu halus, can`t found the line on my recipe.
