Macaroni Schotel (Macaroni Casserole)


In Indonesian & English

Bahan
-  250 gr Macaroni panjang-ptg 2    - 250 gr Daging cincang, 1 st Mustard
-  1½ lt Air mendidih+1 sm Garam    - 200 gr Keju Cheddar/Parmesan-parut
-  1 Bawang Bombay-iris, 1 st Pala   - 5 Telur-kocok, 1 st Kaldu sapi bbk
-  2 Bawang pth-hlskan, 1 st Gula    - 3 sm Terigu, 2 st Lada bbk, 2 Daun salam
-  150 gr Daging asap-ptg2           - 2 sm Mentega, 600 cc Krim, 2 sm Olive oil
-   2 sm Tomat pasta, 2 st Garam     - 200 gr Keju Mozarella, 2 sm Panir-Topping


Cara membuat
- Rebus macaroni di air mendidih+garam sampai ¾ matang. Angkat, tiriskan.
- Tumis bawang pth, Bombay, daging asap, daging & daun salam dng olive oil.
- Pnskan mentega hingga cair, beri terigu, aduk cepat, tuang krim sedikit2 sambil diaduk. Mskkan keju, tomat pasta, mustard, gula, garam, lada, pala, kaldu & tumisan daging, masak hingga keju leleh. Angkat dari api, keluarkan salam, mskkan telur satu2, aduk. Mskkan macaroni, aduk rata.
- Panaskan Oven 190°C. Oles loyang dng mentega, taburi panir. Tuang adonan kedlmnya. Beri keju mozarella di atas adonan. Panggang adonan ± 20 menit. Keluarkan, taburi panir, panggang lagi 10 mnt/sampai kecoklatan.

Ingredients
- 250 gr long Macaroni-cut into 2     - 1 tsp Nutmeg pwd, 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1½ lt boiled Water+1 tbsp Salt      - 200 gr Cheddar/Parmesan cheese-grated
- 1 Onion-sliced, 2 tbsp Olive oil      - 5 Eggs-beaten, 2 tsp Salt, 600 cc Cream
- 2 cloves Garlic-grind                  - 2 tsp Pepper, 3 tbsp Flour, 1 tsp Sugar
- 150 gr Smoked beef-cut             - 1 tsp Beef broth pwd, 2 tbsp Butter
- 250 gr Minced Beef                  - 200 gr Mozarella cheese-for Topping
- 2 Bay Leaves, 1 tsp Mustard         - 2 tbsp Breadcrumbs

Directions
-   Boil the macaroni in boiled water until ¾ cooked. Remove from heat & drain them. Set aside
-   Sauté garlic, onion, smoked beef, minced beef & bay leaves with olive oil. Set aside.
-   Heat the butter until melted, put in the flour; stir quickly. Pour in the cream a little at a time, stir constantly. Add in grated cheese, tomato paste, mustard, sugar, salt, pepper, nutmeg, broth pwd & sautéed meet. Cook until the cheese melts. Remove from heat & discard the bay leaves. Add in the eggs once at a time, stir constantly. Put in macaroni, stir well.
-   Preheat oven to 190°C. Grease a baking dish & sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the batter into the baking dish. Cover with mozarella cheese. Bake for ± 20 mins. Sprinkle the macaroni with breadcrumbs & bake again for 10 mins (until golden brown).
